Description
This presentation will give an overview of the SCRUM methodology and review various talking points surrounding SCRUM as it relates to business analysts.

Speaker:
Michelle Roberts is employed by LexisNexis and has served multiple roles, such as Training Specialist, Lead Territory Coordinator, and Business Analyst. She has a BA (Psychology) BS (Psychology/Justice Systems) from Truman State University, a MS (Criminology) from Indiana State University, and a JD from Oklahoma city University. She has been a member of the Bar Association since April 2012.
She firmly believes that all of one’s educational and work experiences can be easily incorporated into a Business Analyst role. Continuing education – whether by a formalized process of obtaining an advanced degree, gaining certifications, or by performing multiple responsibilities within an organization – should be a goal for any Business Analyst. Her current position as Sr. Business Operations Analyst addresses the needs of the entire Oklahoma City office business units. Having these experiences, and understanding interdepartmental relationships grants her the unique position to truly understand multiple groups’ needs and be able to design solutions.
